About Me

Welcome! I’m a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of St Andrews, the Co-Director of the Centre for the Critical Reimagining of Human Rights, and the Associate Editor of the Journal of International Political Theory.

My research interests lie at the intersection of contemporary political theory and global politics. I am particularly interested in the logic and practices of global migration management, and my current research focuses on the ethics of digital border controls. My work has been published by Routledge, in Refugee Survey Quarterly, the International Journal of Human Rights, Millennium: Journal of International Studies, the Journal of Global Ethics, and the European Journal of Political Theory.

When I’m not working, I am out with my Chocolate Labrador Bonnie, trying new restaurants, and travelling the world with my husband.

Do feel free to look around and learn more about my publications, podcasting, and teaching.
